Roll with my blogroll

I’ve been blogging for about a year now but I still feel new to it. Terms like blogroll still sound awkward. This week I added about one or two more links on my blogroll which prompted me to audit my list. I had to go through and make sure I wasn’t linking to any dumb sites. For the most part I believe every entry on my blog roll is a worthwhile visit. Some sites had been chosen initially because of the visual layout and theme but each site I link to has some decent content. It is the content that matters ultimately. I seem to be finding more sites each day and I don’t want to litter my place with dumb links. If you have a moment check out some of these sites once and a while. Hollaback if you think any of them don’t belong. The most recent additions are a site with a lot of VB, Groovy and Javascripting stuff and another site with good info on Linux.

  3. The original reason behind the madness was to silently seduce would-be readers into a trance allowing me to hypnotically convince them to commence work on my i5Series Nine super computer powered by dual quad-core RISC processors running a multi-plex instruction set paired with Jell-O cooled video memory (not yet invented) and augmented with 14TB RDRR-RAM and a grill cheese sandwich. However, partway into my plight to enslave innocent visitors (and shortly after my 3rd byte of sandwich) I gained a new perspective on computer engineering. It’s not all about the algorithms and hardware, y’know? There are things like good engineering practices that will make even the sloppiest idea look magnificent when on the crappiest hardware.
